Today we are going to chat about........Sisters and Pornography. The Word of God tells us that such recreational entertainment in the privacy of your space is wrong.
I just read an article about it and then I was scanning my "tele" and saw a woman who was just so proud about letting this mess into her bedroom. I was totally surprise.
I remember, more than a decade ago women were fighting men for pimping and using teenage runaways to satisfy the male visual lust. Men use to say porn was a "victimless crime" but now decades later we know better. Its sad that many men have been able to break the addiction and now the women are now struggling with the same issue.
Some women say its because of the access to information on the net. Many women are introduce to it by a male in their life. Some were shown these movies when men seduced them and its their secret shame. Even some married Christian women complain that their "unsaved" husband require them to watch these movies before sex.
If you or your friend have a problem with porn tell them that the Lord will help thm 0overcome this stronghold. This new age visual trap is still lust and the enemy is trying to fool you. The enemy way make material come pass you innocently, then you look and then again, then it becomes "no big deal." Then your friend invites you to a "toy" home party...the same sin from the Bible days just wrapped in a new package. The Enemy comes to kill, steal and destroy. As Christian Women we need to make sured that the next President is serious about enforcing the federal obscenity laws. Surprisingly, more and more pornography addicts are women -- and it is becoming an increasingly common problem. Several years ago, Nielsen NetRatings estimated that 9.4 million American women accessed online pornography in a single month (September 2003). About the same time, 34 percent of respondents to a Today's Christian Woman magazine poll revealed they had intentionally sought out pornography on the Internet.
