6 Week Club: WEEK 1 Clean the Kitchen Clutter

Sisters, Come on in and grab a cup of tea. Let's talk about ...Clean the Kitchen Clutter.

Changing your health and wellness is very hard but you can do it. Don't get discouraged. I want you to have faith that the Lord will help you reach the goal.

The Bible gives us the key to physical and mental health. Theword reminds us, “My son, do not forget my teaching, but keep my commands in your heart, for they will prolong your life many years and bring you prosperity . . . This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones” (Proverbs 3:1-2, 8). Obedience is important to the Lord. That is why obedience to God’s commandments and other laws would promote health.

Let's review what you have done so far this week.
1. You have written down your weight on the calendar.
2. This week you have increased your water intake.
3. You have moved more. You have increased your movement to 30 minutes.
4. You have removed some physical clutter out of your home. Your closet and room is clean.

Now I want you to move to the kitchen. This is going to be your wellness command center. I needs to get ready too. Let's face it food is very expensive this week I want you to find ways to purge the junk. Bless your neighbors children with some treats. Think about your food or diet plan what will logically work for you. Do you need to prepare your snack ahead of time? Do you need containers? Do you need to throw some things out?

Make a list of things you will need for next week. If your planning on making smoothies for breakfast, check to make sure it still works. Do you have everything you will need? Do you need vitamins, proteins, or bottle water?  How about your kitchen tools? Do you need Ziploc bags, knives, etc. There are millions of food plans on like for free or you can decide to for a plan with companies like Weight Watchers or Medifast, etc.
I do not endorse any particular and have never tried them.

I do recommend downloading a food apps on your phone.
I found cell phone apps quite helpful. I believe in using anything that will keep your eyes on the 16 pounds goal.

Take time and think about your rewards. Its no fun not having rewards. I like weekly rewards. It doesn't have to be something too expensive. It has to be something fun so you will work for the goal.

What will you do to treat your self when you exercise every day next week? No, you can't  use a pack of brownies or Annie pretzels, lol. If you do good next week, what will you reward yourself with? A new workout outfit, that bag of expensive cherries, new sneakers, or new towels. Reward yourself with a facial, massage or a brand new scale. Remember cheating is not a reward.

After you clean out your refrigerator and cabinets and kitchen. Don't forget to tell your family and friends your eating more healthy. Use the to-go box so you don't have to explain your diet or offend others and then throw it away later if you think you may offend the people in your circle. Your goal is to change your lifestyle and live longer. You have to begin taking control.
