Let's talk about ...Are You Getting Ready?
As a young island girl, I was taught to wash all your clothes during this time before the New Year.
You dare not go into the New Year with your old dirty clothes from last year, lol. Have you taken down your tree or Christmas decorations? But how about you? What are you preparing for in the New Year? 2013 will be over in a few days. What are you dreaming about? hoping for? or preparing for in the New Year?
A few months ago I asked you to make a Vision Board, the Lord has taught us in his word that the vision should be clear; however, we sometimes forget we need to take steps towards the goal.
What steps do you need to take to accomplish the vision the Lord has poured into your heart? Are you truly getting ready? Are you preparing for the miracle or the blessing? Do you believe that the Lord has already prepared you with what you need to make the vision come true? Do you understand that you need to work towards the goal. If the Lord has told you to do something, no matter your age you need to work towards the vision. Don't give up!
I was just thinking about Noah in Genesis. He knew what the Lord told him to do. The Lord gave him the steps and everyone around him doubted him. But what did he do? No matter how bad his neighbors talked about him, he kept his eyes on the vision.
What will you do in 2014? Whose voice will you listen to today? Trust that the Lord will see you through your journey until you reach the destination. Yes you can!
But stay awake at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that are going to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man.” Luke 21:36
