Okay Ladies, you have been busy and now its crunch time. You need to get ready for Christmas in less than 5 days.
Where do you start?
What can you do in a hurry and still have a wonderful Christmas?
First of all, Jesus is the reason for the season. Christmas is not only about gifts its about reconnecting with your family. I think it is very important for children to be able to interact with their family members. Its not natural and normal for children to grow in isolation. I don't like when people keep their children away from their extended family. Unless they are harmful and sexual perverts--let's keep it real.
It is good emotionally for your children to be connected with their family. Our children should know their cousins, grandparents, aunts and uncles. They should be spending time with them.
How can we plan for Christmas in the next few days?
1. Get your gifts purchased, wrapped and placed under the tree.
2. Decorate the room where your tree is located. This is great for those who do not have time to decorate.
3. Plan your Christmas Dinner and make sure you do not need to go to the store.
4. If you don't have time to purchase new pajamas, wash pajamas for the entire family
5. Get some cookie dough and make semi-homemade cookies and watch Christmas movies.
6. Go on a Christmas Lights drive, visit different neighborhoods.
7. The night before Christmas read the Christmas story in Luke.
