Making Time To Give Back

Sisters in Christ, Come on in and grab a cup of tea. Let's talk about ...Making Time To Give Back.

I really don't understand people who see people who are hungry and do nothing to help. Food and water is such a basic need all humans have. It saddens me that there are still people who go to bed hungry across the world.

Christians use to be known for their ability to give without looking for anything in return.

I think it is even more awful to see all the hungry kids across the world especially in America. I have done outreach in West Virginia and it is really a sad thing to see.

I just want to give a shout out to Jamaican born Tessanne Chin. Yes, there are people of different culture living in Jamaica, everyone is not a Rasta.

She recently performed at an event to benefit Food for the Poor which is a foundation head- quartered in Florida. Tessanne is best known for winning Season 5 of the American singing completion the Voice as part of Adam Levine's team.

She is a "countrywoman" so even though she is a Jamaican reggae fusion artist I want to support her efforts of giving back last night.Tessanne was there to learn more about the charity she was supporting at the “Building Hope Gala” for Food for the Poor, which has raised millions for the needy in some 17 Caribbean and Latin American countries.
