Sisters, come on in and grab a cup of tea and lets talk about ... Christmas in August: Dolls for the Holiday.
Yes, its very early to be talking about Christmas but I just got an email that put me in the Christmas spirit. My middle school friends have an annual brunch in November where we exchange Christmas gifts which are normally little tokens or gag gifts.
Well some people wanted to change the rule but you know what happens when people change tradition.
One friend wants to drive to Philadelphia Doll Museum she wants us to eat in Philly and each person buy a doll as a gift. I thought it was a different cute idea especially since I am a doll collector.
Yes, seriously. I have over 100 black dolls, 5 Asian, 15 Native American and 10 boy dolls. For those of you who do not collect the boy dolls are very rare and the boy African American are even more rare.
Jesus has a sense of humor, ya'll. I have all these dolls and will inherit maybe 200 more from a cousin who is a collector and I don't have a daughter, lol. I plan to donate all of them eventually to a museum or I may start a traveling doll tour, I haven't decided yet.
My girlfriend told me to pick one of my favorites from http://www.naturalgirlsunited.com/, YEAH!!! I love them all.
Do you have an unusual hobby you want to tell us about?
