We can often get distracted with foolishness that we don't take time to thank the Lord for all the things we do have.
In Washington, D.C. this week many people went to work and decided to get come coffee before a gun man decided he couldn't handle life and decided to kill 12 strangers. Are you enjoying and taking advantage of EACH day?
It is always disappointing when you hear such stories but these events causes us to STOP and reflect on our own life. What little things in your life is now getting out of control? Are you feeling sad, disappointed, have a sense that you are becoming withdrawn or just plain depressed?
It amazing how the Lord have made use fearfully and wonderfully made. Our day can change if we change our attitude. If you truly believe that nothing is impossible for the Lord then give him your burdens and problems. You can pray that the Lord will keep your attitude under control. If we are not careful, we can find ourselves complaining and fussing every day. Making ourselves upset about issues that are really not serious or important.
Instead of trying to handle everything in your life and making yourself upset. Why not try to give some of your issues to the Lord. Why not talk to th Lord and let him know how you are really feeling?
When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all. He keeps all his bones; not one of them is broken. Psalm 34:17-20
You can enjoy your life everyday, all you need to do is stop and pray right now.
